We are glad you are taking the time to look at our neighborhood. Whether you are looking for a vacation rental, a summer home, or a place to put down roots, you are sure to find a haven here in the Hills. We are surrounded by the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains, the serenity of nature, and bountiful wildlife. Many small, charming communities – including the town of Waynesville – are nearby. Asheville is about 25 miles to the east. The area offers enough to keep anyone busy for as long as they want to stay!

We are a small subdivision located in northern Haywood County, North Carolina, tucked backed in the mountains not far from I-40 Exit 20. All homes are located on private lots with beautiful views. Visitors are always welcome, and neighbors are friendly and helpful. Many make their homes here year-round.

Whether you are a property owner or visitor, we hope you enjoy your time in these breathtakingly beautiful mountains.

A small Property Owner’s Association is responsible for maintaining the neighborhood. Visitors and full-time residents are asked to respect the following rules and regulations to maintain everyone’s enjoyment, safety, and privacy.

• Speed Limit. The speed limit is 10 MPH within the entire neighborhood. With steep grades and sharp bends, please abide by the speed limit and drive with caution.

• No Parking on roads and streets. This is strictly prohibited at all times.

• ATV’s and Dirt Bikes are permitted but may not enter upon any resident’s property. Please always show consideration for neighbors and be mindful of the posted speed limit and the noise level.

• No Trespassing upon other properties. Please always respect private property.

• Airborne Fireworks are not allowed anywhere in the neighborhood – NO EXCEPTIONS!  Visitors should consult with their host regarding local fire restrictions and use caution with all fireworks. Fires can spread quickly in the mountains, causing damage to structures, wildlife, and the environment for years to come.

• Absolutely No Littering.

• Trash Removal. There is no trash or recycling collection in the neighborhood. So all trash and recyclables must be bagged and taken to the convenience center located on US 276 (Jonathan Creek Road). It is a green fenced-in area across from the BP gas station. The center is closed on Thursdays and Sundays.  Please do not leave trash where wildlife can access it.

• Noise. Haywood County has an enforceable ordinance (CS 95.02 Loud, Disturbing and Unnecessary Noise). No unreasonably loud music or noise is allowed between 10 p.m. .and 7a.m., seven days a week. Even during daytime hours, please keep loud noise to a minimum.

• Leash Law. Haywood County has an enforceable leash law requiring all dogs to be leashed at all times. (CS 91.02 Keeping Animals Under Restraint, CS 91.05 Animals Creating A Nuisance).
